Mandatory Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA)

All visitors to Kenya must obtain an approved eTA before their trip. There's no visa on arrival.

Required Documents:

• Essential for all travelers:
  • Valid passport with at least six months remaining after your departure
  • One blank page in your passport
  • Recent passport-sized photo
  • Contact information (email and phone number)
  • Detailed itinerary (arrival and departure details)
  • Accommodation booking confirmation(s)
  • Payment method (credit card, debit card, Apple Pay, etc.)
• Additional documents based on your circumstances:
  • Citizenship and residence: Financial assets, return transportation booking
  • Travel history: Yellow fever certificate, other vaccinations or test results
  • Purpose of visit:
    • Medical: Letter from a doctor or hospital
    • Conference: Invitation letter
    • Employment: Contract, supporting documents for resettlement
    • Business: Invitation letter from company, company registration copy
    • Diplomatic: Diplomatic passport, official letter from the country of origin
