7 Day Lake Side Experience in Kenya

Nairobi to Kisumu

After breakfast, you will check out and be transferred to the airport for your onward flight to Kisumu where you will be received by the representative. The flight will take about one hour. You will then commence on the tour of the beautiful lakeside city, where you will get to take a boat ride to Ndere Island inside Lake Victoria with a variety of game available.

You will also get to sample the local cuisine which is the catch of the day, either a tilapia fish or a Nile perch. Dietary restrictions will also be accommodated. Later, you will be transferred to your hotel for check-in and relaxation. In the evening, enjoy a relaxing sundowner at the hotel. You will have your dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Kisumu to Maasai Mara

After breakfast, you will depart for the Maasai Mara. The four-and-a-half-hour journey will be exciting since you will see all the plantations of sugarcane in the area as this region is widely known for that together with other vegetation.

You will arrive in the Mara and enjoy a game drive as you head to the hotel for check in and lunch. Later, you will relax and make use of the hotel facilities before you depart for an evening game drive. You will return back to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Maasai Mara to Naivasha

After breakfast, you will depart for Naivasha, home to the fresh water Lake Naivasha. After a five-hour trip, you will arrive at the hotel and collect your lunch boxes. You will then depart for Hell’s Gate National Park, where you will have the beautiful Mvuke Geothermal Spa, a naturally-heated pool where you will enjoy lunch at the lawns after which you will then enjoy a swim.

Later, you will depart for the shores of Lake Naivasha, where you will board a boat to enjoy a relaxing sunset boat ride as the sun sets over the horizon. Then you will return to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
