5 Day Uncovering the Hidden Gems of Kenya
Explore the amazing rift of Kenya with two nights at Keekorok in Maasai Mara for a memorable adventure in the wild. Your journey is followed by a visit to Lake Elementaita with a one-night stay at Sunbird Lodge to explore the famous Soysambu Conservancy and the Thompson Falls, followed by a one-night out at the famous Ark Lodge (shaped like Noah's ark) located inside the Aberdare National Park. This epic journey will last five days and possibly the best way to have a feel of Kenya with Rosolo Safaris.
ITINERARY
Nairobi to Maasai Mara National Reserve
Pick up from your hotel / airport / home where you will be briefed about your trip by one of Rosolo Safaris' representatives. You will then board the van / cruiser and commence your travel. You will have a stop at the viewpoint of the Great Rift Valley and Narok town for freshening up before you proceed with your journey.
Arrive at the lodge in time for lunch where you will check in and relax for a few minutes. Proceed for an afternoon game drive, tracking various animal species and birds with your driver / guide. Later, return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Maasai Mara
Game drive in Maasai Mara
After breakfast, proceed on a full day of game viewing within the reserve. Enjoy the sprawling savannah full of a variety of game ranging from the carnivores, herbivores, and even reptiles. The reserve is a photographers' paradise with the vast variety of animal and bird life in the area. Get an opportunity to go to the Mara River and possibly capture an attack as it happens.
You will have a break for your picnic lunch at the hippo pool, looking out for hippos and crocodile. Enjoy the afternoon game drive and later before you depart for your lodge, visit a Maasai Village and get immersed into the Maasai lifestyle and culture. Return back to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

Maasai Mara to Lake Elementaita
Depart from Maasai Mara and head to Elementaita that lies in the Great Rift Valley. Arrival at the lodge in time for lunch and later depart for an afternoon game drive at Soysambu Conservancy.
A visit to the Lake Elementaita will attract view of the flamingo and the shores that graze the zebra, gazelle, eland, and families of warthog. At the southern end of the lake, lies the Kekopey hot springs, which the Tilapia Grahami breed. The springs are very popular for bathing. The local Masai's claim that it can cure many diseases. The reed beds nearby are fishing grounds for night herons and pelicans. In the evening, return back to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay at the lodge.

Elementaita to Aberdare National Park
After enjoying your stay in the vicinity of Lake Elementaita, you depart for the highlands of Kenya where you find the Aberdares National Park, home to the Aberdares Ranges, one of the great water catchment areas.
As you are heading to Aberdares, you will have a pit spot at Thompson Falls where you will get an opportunity to witness one of the falls that are an attraction due to its rich history which dates back to the colonial times.
Later depart and arrive at the lodge in time for lunch, which will be consumed at Aberdare Country Club, sister property to the Ark, and later be transferred to the lodge for check in. On this day, you will sit and enjoy afternoon tea as you watch the animals at the waterhole. You may opt for an evening game drive and later return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Aberdare to Nairobi
On this final day, you will depart from the hotel and head to Nairobi. You may have an optional stopover if time allows at Sagana, where you are offered kayaking, white water rafting, and also bungee jumping (with extra costs) and possibly engage in one of the activities before you proceed to Nairobi.
After five days of tour with Rosolo Safaris, you bid farewell hope that you will get an opportunity to explore other areas next time. Rosolo Safaris will later transfer you back to your hotel / airport / home. Asante sana.
