ITINERARY
Arrival in Nairobi
Begin with a meet and greet with your tour group. From the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (NBO), you will then be transferred to your hotel in Nairobi. Depending on your arrival time, there will be some scheduled activities for you to engage in during the day. You will explore David Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage, Giraffe Centre, and Bomas of Kenya. Overnight stay will be in Nairobi.
Nairobi to Maasai Mara
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Wilson Airport where you will take your flight to Maasai Mara. The flight will take about one hour. Upon arrival, enjoy a game drive as you head to your hotel for check in and lunch. Later, relax and make use of the hotel facilities before you depart for an evening game drive. Return back to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Maasai Mara - The Balloon Safari
On this day, you will wake up very early. You will be picked up from the hotel to the departing point of the balloon. You will see the balloon being inflated. Later, you will board the balloon and have a sunrise experience on top of the scenic view of Maasai Mara for close to an hour. After you land, you will get to see the deflation of the balloon.
A breakfast will be set up under a tree in the middle of nowhere. Enjoy a hearty breakfast as you reminisce the awesome experience. You will then be transferred back to the hotel.
You will enjoy another amazing game drive in the Maasai Mara. Among the many things you can enjoy there are the big five, wildebeest migration (during peak season), and so much more. In the evening, you will enjoy an amazing sundowner cocktail in the wilderness. Enjoy lunch and dinner and an overnight stay in the hotel.
Maasai Mara
After a sumptuous breakfast, a qualified guide will take you for a guided walking safari. He will assist in understanding the behaviors of the animals and nature, naming different species of birds. There you will have a very close view of the wildlife.
After lunch, you will take a journey to a Maasai village where you will indulge in their way of life. You will learn what makes them unique and strong in their culture. Then you will come back to the hotel or tented camp for dinner and overnight stay.
Maasai Mara to Nairobi
You will start the day with a filling breakfast and have one last game drive before flying back to Nairobi.
