Kenya is home a number of attractions that vary from wildlife, to cultural attractions, to world class beaches to adventure and not forgetting our different kind of safari; i.e. the walking safaris, camel riding on the Kenyan Deserts, fishing in the lakes and also hot air ballooning in the Maasai Mara.
On this trip, the Safari Mambo Jambo, we take the opportunity to show you Kenya’s best kept secrets ranging from;
Staying inside an Ark, in the middle of the Aberdare Ranges, one of the largest water catchments in Kenya
To residing in a conservancy that has dedicated its effort towards wildlife conservation especially for the Rhinos and being home to the remaining Northern Black Rhinos and also housing the Chimpanzee Sanctuary that houses chimps that are rescued from exploitation.
Samburu National Reserve is one of the lesser-known national parks, but is nevertheless teeming with life.
Situated alongside the Ewaso Nyiro River, there is plenty to attract wildlife from the surrounding savannah plains.
The reserve is rich in wildlife with an abundance of rare northern specialist species such as the Grevy’s zebra, Somali ostrich, reticulated giraffe, gerenuk and the beisa oryx (also referred to as Samburu Special Five).
The reserve is also home to elephants and large predators such as the lion, leopard and cheetah. Kamunyak the miracle lioness that adopted the baby oryx was as a resident in the reserve.
Wild dog sightings are also a common attraction to this unique protected area. Birdlife is abundant with over 450 species recorded
